No I made it up. After the first SSJ died, a few Saiyans created this little "poem" to reserve his memory. Over time the details were forgotten and only the part about the SSJ's great strength was passed down. I wanted Vegeta to become a SSJ but since Gast was so strong there wouldn't be a situation where Vegeta would need to transform. Gast has Guru's memories so he remembered the entire legend and wanted to help Vegeta.
Very nice chapter. So... much... friendship! (Or should that be "palship"?) Cui makes a pretty good Ackbar, Salza needs to learn not to run with a knife and Zail is totally clueless.^^ So I guess the best way for them to avenge Frieza would be to do nothing at all. Two more things: Zails missing arm switched sides twice. Did you place the speech bubble on top of Piccolo on purpose to hide that he's not Zail?

It doesn't take long to make an episode but I've just been lazy with school and work to sit down long enough to do them =P. Eventually the story will lead up to when the Vargas come and ask Gast to join the tournament.
